Hooterville Visitor!




He stayed quite awhile, drinking out of the pond, perching on my little bridge railing (below).

Then he graced me with a close-up by perching on my deck railing right outside my window! He is either the biggest red tail hawk I've seen around here, or he's an immature golden eagle. If anyone knows, please post a comment.

Hey CGaletta, you were visited by a red-tailed hawk.Immature eagles are brown all over. What did its tail look like?

Hi Vix! I can't remember the tail, but at the time I found a picture of the immature golden eagle and it looked like that. However, I think even an immature golden eagle would be much bigger. This had to be a big red tailed hawk.
