Seven Random Things About Me
Ronni tagged me!
Here are the rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. You need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog! (I can't tag 7 because Ronni tagged a few I would have tagged, I will tag less than 7. LOL!)
Ok, here we go.
1) "Rudy" and "Remember the Titans" are two of my favorite movies. I love movies based on fact and the more uplifting, the better.
2) The first letter of each of my several last names spell "THAPS". Appropriate if you think about it. Heh.
3) I had to 'borrow' hay bales for a going-away "barn dance" for our loft in high school for my best friend and her brother. My sister, best friend and I had to run interference with our parents to keep them from finding my girlfriend's brother was drunk when they were bringing out sandwiches and refreshments (her family was moving to Puerto Rico.) The boys had been to a 'river party' before coming to our dance. After the dance, the hay was returned.
4) I was kicked out of beauty school. Expelled. Asked to get my 'kit' and go home. (Did you know you can smuggle vodka inside a hair spray can if you pry the top off and sterilize it? A cork fits perfectly in the hole and the plastic top goes over that!)
5) When I married Paul, I told my friends I had registered at "Jacoby & Meyers".
6) I was told we were related to President Harry S Truman.
7) I could tell you alot more but then I'd have to ... well, you know!

My, my, my! The things you learn!
I shall remember that bit about the hair spray.
You reminded me of one I should have put in mine--I flunked out of Home Ec. Both cooking and sewing.
Oh, what a barn party that was! Don't think I have ever enjoyed myself as much. Thanks for bringing back some good memories GF!!
