L-R: Sharon, Mom, Chuck, Me, Don I found this picture today as I was trying again to go through boxes I have in the spare room downstairs. I sort through a few and then I have to stop, take a break, and regain my composure. She would have been 84 on Tuesday. Miss you mom.

Hey Sweetie....I know you are missing your mom...it is hard to lose them at such an early age. My mom would have been 93 this year and she went when she was only 69. I have such great memories of being at your place when we were young. Everytime I go by it on the highway, I think of other, happier times. Remember when Rocket ran off with me and knocked me off under a tree? Love the picture of your family, can you email it to me? Give the boys my best when you "talk" to them again. Big Hugs
Sandi, yes I remember! That horse was only 4 years old--I still can't believe how we rode him bareback, chased "parkers" down at the old church, and to the DQ so he could have a cherry coke. But, the going-away-barn-dance for you guys was the best. We had to "borrow" hay for the loft and somebody snuck in booze! Your brother Jack will have confess one of these days--good thing we hid him every time one of our parents came out to deliver more sandwiches. Ha!
Oh, yes, that barn party! I do remember Sharon walking Jack up and down the road, trying to sober him up! What a great time we had! I'm glad you found that picture and I'm glad we were friends all those years ago and still are good buddies!
Bye Mayn....Love, Dobie
My heart goes out to you, CG. The pain of losing my Mother and best friend 23 years ago has not left me. She was only 53! There are times when I call out to her in sheer frustration.
That is a beautiful picture - you all looks so alike - a really handsome family.
Cheers, to your Mom, CG, she did a good job, by the look and sound of things.
Beautiful picture! Sorry about the missing part.
Hugs,
Thinking of you CG. I know it's hard.
Justin, I know you understand. I tried posting on your blog last night but blogger wasn't letting me for some reason. I lost my dad in '94 and sister in '00. So hard, isn't it?
I don't know what I would do without my daughter, Heather. She has been so supportive and I thank God she lives up here and we can spend so much time together.
Today is Mom's birthday.
Happy Birthday Mom!
Best wishes to Chuck, CG. He certainly looks as though he can take care of himself.
I don't think it ever gets any easier. She'll always be with you.
