Victory! Hosking defeats Lemkau!

It started with a tragedy and a community rose up and decided to fight back! We knew it would be an uphill battle. Who defeats a sitting judge in the largest county in the continental United States?

Someone like James Hosking, who at great personal cost, stepped up to do what was right. With intregity and courage, James waged a campaign for the dignity the office deserved and was sorely lacking.

For those who criticize and say "it was only one case" "one bad decision" I ask: What value would you place on your 9 month old son or grandchild?

Lemkau took every opportunity to make excuses for himself, even blaming Katie and other law enforcement, never accepting his responsiblity for not protecting baby Wyatt.

The children of San Bernardino County are safer tonight. Thank you voters of San Bernardino County. Thank you to all the members of our community and FB community for all you did to remove this judge.

Thank you soon-to-be Judge James J. Hosking. Last, but certainly not least, thank you Katie for your courage and strength and love for Wyatt.

This is AWESOME!! Been following this election from Orange County. This little precious baby did not die in vain thanks to the People of San Bernadino County. These scumbag judges should not be protected. Prayers to the family...justice has been served!

I was at the James Hosking Victory Party last night and James' supporters kept coming and coming and coming until nearly midnight...it was huge!

Katie Tagle, her mother, grandmother and her closest friends were at the party and I can not begin to describe the emotions that went through the crowd as the election results were released.

Katie's family is awesome and everyone there were pouring love and affection on Katie and her group.

Katie wanted Lemkau off the bench so he could never hurt another family like Lemkau hurt hers.

She said her only regret is that Judge Lemkau will not be replaced by James until January.

We all owe James Hosking a debt of gratitude for this was a gutsy decision on his part win or lose. You "just don't run against a seated judge" and that is why no one else would run against Lemkau even after James tried to get other to run.

James said, "If no one else will do it then I will have to."

Let me tell you, there is no doubt, THE BEST MAN WON!

RIP Baby Wyatt, we got the man responsible for your death.

Amen! James Hosking put it all on the line when he challenged a sitting judge: his job, his finances and quite possibly his legal career. He could have stood on the sidelines, but he did not.

James is real. He truly felt compelled to right a tragic injustice that resulted in Wyatt's murder. The people of this county are so fortunate to have him on the bench.

I wish I could have been there last night to be with Katie and her entire family along with James, Peggy and their families.
